GIRLS × MELODY (ガールズ×メロディー) or also called GARUMERO (ガールメロ) is a project created in February 2026 and currently under development. GARUMERO is deeply inspired by early/mid 2010's school projects, along some more newer problems/topics in music, arts, and academics culture.

The story is centered around Fumiko Asari, a second year in Hanasaki highschool, an academy that specializes in forming musicans. She navigates arts, music, and life, while trying to keep herself together.

We work hard for you!

FEATURED CHARACTER OF THE MONTH . . .

Shion

Shion's best friend and (occasionally) her voice of reason. She doesn’t seem to show up as much when the comic turns music-related, but rather when Fumiko seems to be going through it… She’s there to torment her!

In Fumiko’s words, she’s cunning; in Sophia’s words, intelligent.

WARNINGS

GARUMERO has a couple of trigger warnings such as suicide (ideation), self harm, abuse, homophobia, cults, and others. However, every chapter (and character wiki) will have it's proper warning.

We do not look to romanticize any of this, or future things that may be mentioned. Instead, we look for people to be aware that these are real problems and how these end up affecting different people in different enviroments.

We don't support any type of romanticization of our characters or their struggles.

Feel free to take breaks while reading or drop the chapter if you find some of these topics triggering.

P.D If you feel like we portrayed something in a bad manner, or with an incorrect/oudated term, feel free to tell us, as we aren't professionals and we try to improve our writting. You can let us know in our ATABOOK or our tiktok account linked in our socials.
